Sep 12, 2024 11:11 CESTAug 21, 2013 - French laser devices maker Quantel (EPA:QUA) said yesterday that the French atomic energy institute CEA has granted the company a contract to develop five preamplifier modules.
The group will obtain EUR 6 million (USD 8m) for the deal under which the modules have to be delivered in 2015.
CEA and Quantel had concluded a partnership in 2005 covering the manufacturing of 90 such modules, which would be divided in different orders depending on the budget possibilities of CEA.
