German real estate management company Real I.S. AG said last week that it has completed the installation of over 10,000 photovoltaic (PV) panels in the Netherlands together with Amsterdam-based solar developer Sunrock.

As part of the project, 6,408 panels with a combined output of 2,403 kWp and another 3,960 panels with an output of 1,485 kWp were installed on the rooftops of two warehouses in Moerdijk.

The two logistics properties are owned by Real's fund, Real I.S. BGV VII Europa.

“The installed solar panels generate renewable energy and at the same time additional rental income. Against this background, the cooperation with Sunrock is a good example of responsible action in the interests of our investors”, Pamela Hoerr, member of Real's management board, commented.

Real is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bayerische Landesbank (BayernLB).
