Woodland Biofuels to pour USD 1.35bn into Louisiana port biofuel hub
Sep 18, 2024 8:54 CESTJul 3, 2013 - US biodiesel producer Renewable Energy Group Inc (NASDAQ:REGI), or REG, said Tuesday it had restarted production at its recently acquired Texas multifeedstock biorefinery with an annual capacity of 15 million gallons (56.8m litres).
The company, which uses natural fats, oils and greases to make advanced biofuels, acquired the now-upgraded refinery dubbed REG New Boston LLC in November last year.
REG’s portfolio also includes a biorefinery in Houston and five other facilities in Iowa, Illinois and Minnesota. The company has an annual production capacity of 225 million gallons.
