Guatemala generated 63.34% of its power from renewable sources during October, a boost from the 45.4% share recorded in September, according to the latest report by the National Electric Energy Commission (CNEE).

The increase in October was driven almost single-handedly by hydropower, which accounted for 59.39% of the total renewables share during the month.
