Romania's CIS Group to build 23-MW solar park at home
Sep 19, 2024 9:59 CESTRomanian company Constructim launched on Friday a two-million euro ($2.5 million) photovoltaic park in the western country of Timis, it said.
The solar park, located in Buzias, has 3,800 photovoltaic panels with combined installed capacity of one megawatt (MW), Constructim said in a statement. The facility spans on an area of 19,000 square metres.
Power distributor Repower Furnizare Energie Romania will supply electricity generated at the the solar park to consumers.
Constructim also said it intends to develop a 12.5 MW wind park in the Romanian southwestern county of Caras Severin.
It launched a nine-megawatt solar park in Oravita, in the Caras Severin county, last year.
