Romania's CIS Group to build 23-MW solar park at home
Sep 19, 2024 9:59 CESTRomanian insolvent hydropower producer Hidroelectrica will offer for sale 1.81 million megawatt-hours (MWh) of electricity for 397.75 million lei ($111.96 million/87.99 million euro) on the domestic energy market later this month, data from the country's power market operator OPCOM showed.
Hidroelectrica will offer the electricity in 35 lots on November 14, 15, 16, 19 and 20, data from OPCOM's website indicated.
The selling price has been set at 220 lei per MWh for each lot. The price excludes value added tax.
State-controlled Hidroelectrica was declared insolvent in June.
