Romania's Rosiorii de Vede city calls tender for 2.84 MW solar plant

The Romanian southern city of Rosiorii de Vede has called a tender for the construction of a 2.84 megawatt (MW) solar plant under a contract estimated at 37.5 million lei ($11.5 million/8.4 million euro), a tender notice indicated on Friday.

The eight-month contract envisages the design, construction, delivery, installation and bringing into service of the solar plant in Teleorman country, according to a contract notice published in Romania's procurement portal e-licitatie.ro.

The construction of the solar plant will be financed with funds form the European Union, the local budget and the state budget.

Bids for contract should be submitted by 0900 CET on May 15. The value of the contract excludes value added tax (VAT).
