Romania's Topoloveni town calls tender for 3.0 MWp solar plant construction

The Romanian southern town of Topoloveni has called a tender for the construction of a 3.0 megawatt peak (MWp) solar plant under a contract estimated at 54.1 million lei ($16.3 million/11.9 million euro), a notice indicated on Thursday.

The construction of the solar plant will be financed with funds form the European Union, the local budget and the state budget, according to a contract notice published in Romania's procurement portal e-licitatie.ro.

The contract envisages the acquisition, delivery and installation of the solar panels as well as providing maintenance services for a period of five years.

Bids for the 72-month contract should be submitted by 0800 CET on February 26. The value of the contract excludes value added tax (VAT).
