Saudi Arabia's ACWA Power has signed 20-year PPAs for two solar projects totalling 250 MW with Ethiopia's state-owned electricity producer Ethiopian Electric Power (EEP). The price agreed in the contracts is USD 0.02526 (EUR 0.02295)/kWh. Read more..

-- Enora, 547 Energy win 135 MW of wind projects in Greece

A unit of Greek renewables group Enteka SA and the clean energy platform of private equity firm Quantum Energy Partners have won 135 MW of wind power capacity in a recent auction in Greece. The country’s Regulatory Authority for Energy (RAE) has awarded 20-year PPAs for four wind projects to Enteka subsidiary Enora SA and an affiliate of 547 Energy LLC, which is backed by the buyout firm.
