Origin inks bundled PPA for 530-MW wind park in Victoria

Australian electricity and natural gas company Origin Energy Ltd (ASX:ORG) has signed a bundled power off-take contract for electricity from the 530-MW Stockyard Hill wind farm in Victoria. The deal consists of a series of long-term PPAs with seven customers, among which Melbourne Airport, Ausgrid, Nexus Hospitals and NSW Ports.

Engie to supply 4.3 TWh of renewable power to O-I in Europe

French utility Engie SA (EPA:ENGI) will supply a total of 4.3 TWh of renewable electricity to facilities in Europe of US glass bottle maker O-I Glass Inc (NYSE:OI) under a 10-year agreement.

Enel Green Power signs hydro PPA with Coca-Cola bottlers in Guatemala

Enel Green Power Guatemala (EGPG) has inked a PPA to supply 28.6 GWh per year of hydropower to the three local bottlers of The Coca-Cola Co (NYSE:KO) over the next two years.

Canadian Solar Inc (NASDAQ:CSIQ) has signed a PPA with Brazilian steel manufacturer Usiminas (BVMF:USIM5) that is linked to the construction of a BRL-1.35-billion (USD 265m/EUR 237m) solar park in Luziania, Goias state.

Battery maker Panasonic Energy signs solar PPA in Thailand

Japanese renewables developer Shizen Energy Inc and Bangkok-based independent power producer (IPP) Constant Energy have concluded a 20-year PPA with battery maker Panasonic Energy (Thailand) Co Ltd involving a 1,169-kWp rooftop solar array.

Barclays to green UK ops under 10-year renewable deal with BP

Barclays Plc (LON:BARC) has signed a PPA with oil and gas major BP Plc (LON:BP) that calls for the UK bank to procure renewable electricity for its UK operations.

Sify to procure 231 MW of wind, solar for Indian data centres
