Croatian renewables developer and investor Professio Energia (ZSE:DLPR) has tied up with a unit of sector player RP Global Austria GmbH to jointly work on a 266-MWp portfolio of solar projects in Croatia.

Professio Energia announced the joint development agreement with RP Global Projekti in a bourse filing on Friday.

The partnership calls for the two firms to develop eight photovoltaic (PV) projects at sites where Professio Energia already holds approvals for wind power generation. The specific location and details of the proposed solar parks were not available.

RP Global Austria is part of European renewable energy developer RP Global, which operates on the solar PV, wind, hydropower and energy storage markets and has a pipeline of projects exceeding 10 GWp. Earlier this month, the group closed the sale of two wind farms totalling 103 MW in northern Poland to Engie Zielona Energia and unveiled plans to build a 100-MW solar park near in Serbia, the northern city of Sremska Mitrovica.
