Poland’s R.Power SA is developing a 65-MWp solar photovoltaic project in Ciudad Real, central Spain.

The planned solar farm will feature over 100,000 bifacial modules and single-axis trackers installed a site spanning 90 hectares (222.4 acres), the Polish renewables developer said on Friday.

The plant’s annual production output is expected to exceed 130 GWh. The plan is to sell the electricity under market-based power purchase agreements (PPAs).

R.Power expects the project to reach ready-to-build status by 2026.

Spain is an important market for R.Power and the company plans to expand its operations there. It is also present in the neighbouring Portugal, where it has launched two projects with a capacity of over 13 MWp.
