Woodland Biofuels to pour USD 1.35bn into Louisiana port biofuel hub
Sep 18, 2024 8:54 CESTApr 30, 2012 - Canadian Solutions4CO2 Inc (CVE:SFC), or S4C02, today unveiled a joint venture deal with US algae producer Bard Holding Inc to develop a facility in the US that will produce algae biomass for bio-plastics and other co-products.
This is the second joint venture between the companies. Recently, S4CO2, which focuses on capturing waste gas or water streams and processing them into co-products, and Bard Holding have announced joint plans to develop an algae production and processing plant at the Bluewater Energy Park in Sarnia in the Canadian province of Ontario.
The facility to be built as part of the new joint venture, will be located in the Midwest region of the US and is scheduled to become operational in early 2013. Under the deal, it will be designed, built, operated and maintained by S4CO2 on behalf of the joint venture company.
