Schneider Electric to manage 42 MW of PV power plants in Bulgaria - media

Schneider Electric’s solar division has been awarded a contract to fully manage the operations of a total of 42 megawatts of photovoltaic power plants in Bulgaria, trade publication PV Tech reported.

The company had supplied electrical equipment supplier to the plants, including inverters, array boxes, DC combiner boxes, PV Boxes, transformers, MV and grid boxes, PV Tech (www.pv-tech.org) reported on Tuesday, quoting Schneider Electric.

Schneider Electric further said that the plants in Bulgaria are being monitored and controlled using its Conext Control technology, which provides full data access within its Hypervision IT solution.

The company was responsible for training the power plants service staff and established a spare parts centre to support operations, the media said.
