Cambuslang-based builder Cruden Group has entered into an agreement with ScottishPower to buy electricity from renewable sources over a three-year period.

The power purchased by the construction group will come from wind farms and will be used to supply homes.

The two parties also collaborate on the development of a variety of renewable and other clean energy services and smart technologies that will enable the reduction of homeowners’ energy bills. They are working together on zero-carbon alternatives such as ground and air source heat pumps, electric vehicle (EV) charging, low-carbon heating, as well as solar and energy storage offerings.
