World set to install 593 GW of new solar in 2024 - Ember
Sep 19, 2024 13:28 CESTJun 12, 2013 - The sentiment in Germany's renewable energy sector worsened in May 2013 after improving in the previous month.
The respective index, which is compiled by the German renewable energy industry institute Internationales Wirtschaftsforum Regenerative Energien (IWR), dropped to 86.5 points in May after growing by 10 points to 90.7 points in April, IWR said on Tuesday.
This means that, as compared to April, sector companies assess the current situation as well as the future perspectives as worse.
Since the end of 2011, the index has been moving in the negative area of less than 100 points. Back in February 2013, the index fell to its so-far lowest level of 80 points.
