Serbia's economy ministry is said it inviting bids in a tender process for the sale of state-owned energy and hydro power facilities builder Hidrotehnika-Hidroenergetika.

The estimated value of the assets of Hidrotehnika-Hidroenergetika for sale stands 2.76 million euro ($3.23 million), the economy ministry said in a notice posted on the website of the country's privatisation agency last week.

The economy ministry has put up for sale 147,460 shares of Hidrotehnika-Hidroenergetika with a total nominal value of 147.46 million dinars ($1.46 million/1.25 million euro), the notice reads.

Tenderers should have been continuously active in the construction of hydro-technical facilities or the construction of pipelines, electrical and communication lines, and to have had a minimum annual turnover of 20 million euro in the past three years.

The ministry will open the envelopes with the offers of interested investors on September 5.

Hidrotehnika-Hidroenergetika is currently implementing projects in Serbia, Tunisia and Algeria.
