Jordan Green agrees land deal for solar-powered green ammonia hub
Sep 20, 2024 5:52 CESTBELGRADE (Serbia), November 5 (SeeNews) – A pair of Serbian business partners are in talks to build a 5.0 million euro ($7.1 million) wood pellets factory in Bosnia's Serb Republic, Belgrade-based news media reported on Friday.
“We see good possibilities for investment in the Serb Republic. We expect to be aided in this effort by the government there but it is too early to talk about details,” news daily Blic (www.blic.rs) quoted Serbian businessman Zoran Drakulic as saying.
Drakulic owns Bio Energy Point in Serbia, part of Cyprus-based East Point, whose annual output of wood pellets is about 30,000 tonnes.
His partner for the Bosnian venture is Nenad Okanovic.
Okanovic already runs a wood pellets factory as part of a family business in Zvornik, in the Serb Republic.
The Serb Republic, together with the Muslim-Croat Federation form post-war Bosnia.
