Iberdrola inaugurates 496-MW Saint-Brieuc wind farm offshore France
Sep 19, 2024 16:25 CESTSerbia's state-owned power utility Elektroprivreda Srbije (EPS) said it signed the country's first contract with a commercial prosumer of renewable energy, a subsidiary of Germany's engineering and planning firm Gruner.
EPS signed a full supply contract with net billing with Gruner Serbian, based in the southern town of Vlasotince, for the period from 1 April 2022 until 31 December 2023, the power utility said in a statement on Friday.
Gruner Serbian will use for its own needs the electric power obtained from its 500 kW solar panel plant built on a roof of its production facility, and deliver the surplus electricity to the power system, EPS explained.
Gruner entered the Serbian market in 2007.
