Serbian state-owned energy utility EPS said it is seeking an adviser to draft a pre-feasibility study for a solar park project near the central town of Kostolac.

In December, local media reported that EPS is in talks with German development bank KfW on wind and solar power plant projects in the Kostolac area.

The bidding deadline for the advisory contract is September 4, a notice on the EPS website indicated.

The total net output capacity of the EPS power generation facilities added up to 7,124 MW at the end of 2014. The group's electricity output fell 14.6% to 31,963 GWh last year.
