Serbian state-owned energy utility EPS said it plans to invite in November bids for the provision of consultancy services on the Kostolac wind farm project.

The consultant will be in charge of obtaining a construction permit for the planned wind power plant, EPS said in a public notice.

The company expects to sign an agreement with the selected consultant in February next year.

Serbia has no installed wind power capacity.

The total net output capacity of the EPS power generation facilities added up to 7,124 MW at the end of 2014. The group's electricity output fell 14.6% to 31,963 GWh last year.
