Belgrade-based electric company Gobem will build a photovoltaic (PV) power plant with a capacity of 9.45 MW in Serbia's northern town of Temerin, the local authorities said on Wednesday.

Lamda group, a Novi Sad-based architecture firm, is in charge of the project design, the municipality office said in a statement.

The plant will consist of 105 inverters, the statement read.

A public presentation of the project will be held from February 9 to February 16.

The municipality's commission on urban planning will assess the project, as well as any suggestions or complaints that have been submitted, on February 18, a local official told SeeNews.

The official declined to make an estimate on when the construction could start, or be finalised.
