The wind park project, to be developed near the town of Vrsac, would require capital expenses of around 200 million euro ($272 million) and to raise the necessary funding, a series of non-binding preliminary agreements have been signed with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, UniCredit Bank and Erste Bank, Fintel Energia Group said in a statement.
MK Fintel Wind is a 46/54 joint venture between Serbia’s MK Group and Fintel Energia Group. It was set up in 2008 to invest in green energy projects in Serbia and the region.
