Construction of the solar system is scheduled to commence in August of this year. Once up and running, it should be able to generate around 1.43 million kWh per year.

Shizen Energy noted that thanks to the contract, the local subsidiary of Hiroshima-based Molten Corp should be able to offset some 611 tonnes of carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions in its factory in Sriracha, Chonburi province, eastern Gulf of Thailand coast.
