Slovenian PV modules maker BISOL Group raises output by 22% in 2012

Slovenia's BISOL Group said on Thursday its photovoltaic (PV) modules output rose 22% last year and that it plans to expand to new emerging markets in 2013.

In 2012, BISOL Group initiated extensive investment in the automation of its manufacturing facility, which will be completed at the beginning of this year, the company said in a statement.

The modernisation project began last summer and should increase production capacity by almost 10%.

In 2012, the company entered the markets of former Yugoslavia and Southeast Europe and also obtained the necessary certificates to enter the U.S., Canadian and Australian markets. BISOL Group said it plans to step up its international activities this year and to expand its sales network.

BISOL Group (www.bisol.com), founded in 2006, is headquartered in Prebold, in central Slovenia.
