German renewables developer PNE recruits Heiko Wuttke as new CEO
Sep 20, 2024 14:12 CESTSep 14, 2011 - Celebrating its 30th anniversary German solar inverter maker SMA Solar Technology (ETR:S92) opened today new service centre for PV inverters at the Sandershaeuser Berg industrial complex in central Germany.
Operations at the centre will start in the spring of 2012, SMA said.
PV inverters from all around the world will be analysed, tested and repaired at the facility, which aims to improve the speed and quality of the provided services and lower their cost.
German devices will be replaced within 24 hours, while those installed in other countries - within 48 hours, the company added.
On the roof of the centre SMA will install a 1 MW solar plant.
