Bulgaria's NEK opens tender for new turbines at pumped storage plant
Sep 18, 2024 13:50 CESTSOFIA (Bulgaria), February 5 (SeeNews) – The Bulgarian stock exchange indices ended mostly higher on Thursday as turnover on the regulated market fell, bourse data indicated.
The blue-chip SOFIX index, which tracks the 15 most liquid shares on the BSE, closed 0.24% higher at 503.25 points after rising 0.14% on Wednesday.
The broader BGBX40, which tracks the 40 most traded shares, was 0.34% up to 101.32 points after rising 0.31% in the previous trading session.
Turnover on the regulated market fell to 172,900 levs ($100,500/88,400 euro) from 843,700 levs on Wednesday.
Car battery producer MonBat [BUL:5MB] was the top SOFIX gainer, closing 1.69% higher at 8.055 levs in a volume of 1,850 shares.
Industrial Capital Holding [BUL:4I8] was the biggest SOFIX loser, closing 3.72% lower at 3.36 levs as 1,240 shares changed hands.
Bulgarian Real Estate Fund [BUL:5BU] was the most traded blue chip with 52,860 shares changing hands.
The BG-REIT index, which tracks the performance of the real estate investment trusts, ended 0.02% lower to 97.73 points after rising 0.90% in the previous session.
The BG TotalReturn30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, ended 0.07% higher at 398.18 points after rising 0.63% on Wednesday.
