Bulgaria's NEK opens tender for new turbines at pumped storage plant
Sep 18, 2024 13:50 CESTSOFIA (Bulgaria), April 27 (SeeNews) – The Bulgarian stock exchange indices ended mostly lower on Monday while turnover on the regulated market rose, bourse data indicated.
The blue-chip SOFIX index, which tracks the 15 most liquid shares on the BSE, closed 0.09% lower at 494.42 points after rising 0.85% on Friday.
The broader BGBX40, which tracks the 40 most traded shares, was 0.08% higher to 100.69 points after falling 0.88% in the previous trading session.
Turnover on the regulated market rose to 920.100 levs ($511,400/470,400 euro) from 470,100 levs on Friday.
Car battery maker Monbat [BUL:5MB] was the top SOFIX gainer, closing 3.19% higher at 8.379 levs as 1,337 shares changed hands.
Industrial group Chimimport [BUL:6C4] led the blue chip decliners, falling 4.52% to 1.69 levs as 46,491 shares changed hands. It was the most traded blue chip.
The BG-REIT index, which tracks the performance of the real estate investment trusts, ended 1.58% lower to 94.67 points after rising 0.11% in the previous session.
The BG TotalReturn30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, ended 0.21% lower at 401.78 points after falling 1.03% on Friday.
