Bulgaria's NEK opens tender for new turbines at pumped storage plant
Sep 18, 2024 13:50 CESTThe Sofia municipality said on Wednesday that it has signed a heating devices delivery contract worth some 14 million levs ($8.1 million/7.2 million euro) with Bulgarian companies Clima Injenering 2016, Smart Business Company, Tempex and Vikso, as well as the EUROTOP consortium.
Under the terms of the deal, the companies and the tie-up are to deliver, install, commission, as well as provide warranty service for domestic heating devices powered by pellets, natural gas and electricity for households within the municipality, the contracting authority said in a notice to the public procurement agency.
The deal is financed with EU funds under the Environment 2014-2020 operational programme.
The contract was signed on November 5.
The tender attracted offers by 20 bidders. Price formed 80% weight in the assessment of the bids.
In June, Sofia municipality awarded two deals with a price of some 27 million levs to six local companies and two tie-ups, one of which the EUROTOP consortium, within the same public procurement. Today's deal raised the procurement's total price to over 41.1 million levs.
