Elawan bags Google PPA for 37-MW solar project in Texas
Sep 19, 2024 13:49 CESTUS solar software provider Aurora Solar has opened an office in Frankfurt, setting foot in Germany, Switzerland and Austria to take advantage of the growing number of local solar installers who are in need of digital solutions and automation.
The German office has sales, marketing and customer support teams, a press release said last week.
“With demand for solar growing in Europe, we are confident our German expansion will help further our mission to create a future of solar for all,” CEO Christopher Hopper said.
Aurora offers a cloud-based platform that uses data, automation and AI to streamline workflows and help solar businesses design, sell and deliver solar and battery storage systems. Founded in 2013, the company has so far raised more than USD 500 million (EUR 467.5m) in funding and attracted backers such as Energize Ventures, ICONIQ Capital and Coatue.
The San Francisco, California-based firm earlier this year also opened a representative office in Canada.
