Colombia's ANLA gets mandate to license renewables starting at 50 MW
Sep 17, 2024 12:44 CESTSpanish manufacturer Gonvarri Solar Steel has inked a deal to supply 37 MW of solar trackers for three separate projects in Colombia.
The contract is for the company’s TracSmart+ 1V trackers, both single-row and dual-row, which will be delivered to solar projects in the Caribbean region of the Cordoba department. Each site has a planned power-generating capacity of 12.6 MW.
Further details about the agreement were not provided.
Solar Steel, part of Madrid-based steel group Gonvarri Industries, noted in the statement released on Thursday that it has supplied more than 3.9 GW of trackers and fixed structures throughout the Latin American market since 2005.
