Statkraft connects 44.5-MW solar farm to grid in Spain
Sep 19, 2024 15:28 CESTJul 3, 2013 - Spanish solar panel maker Solaria Energia y Medio Ambiente (MCE:SLR) expects that it would be able to give a boost to its business performance in 2013, energy news portal Alimarket-Energia said.
Taking into consideration its results for the first quarter of the year, Solaria has grounds to believe that it would receive a significant number of orders by the end of the year.
During the first months of 2013 Solaria's solar panel sales went down by 90% annually due to the crisis and unstable regulatory framework in Spain. However, the firm intends to reinforce its operations abroad and develop international projects. Thus, Solaria will be on new markets with great potential such as Brazil, Central America, South Africa and Saudi Arabia.
