Chinese solar inverters and energy storage solutions provider GoodWe Technologies Co Ltd (SHA:688390) announced the completion of a 10.95-MW solar farm in Malaysia, the first large-scale solar project to be fully implemented with the company’s integrated one-stop PV solution.

GoodWe equipped the facility with 52 of its 250-kW HT string inverters, two units of 6,750-kVA medium-voltage (MV) Stations, the SCB3000 communication device and the SolarOS monitoring platform.

Located in the state of Perak, the Solar Citra Project is owned by local property firm M K Land Holdings Herhad (KLSE:MKLAND) and was realised under the Large Scale Solar scheme (LSS4). The site was built by Solarvest Holdings Berhad in the role of an engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) contractor.

The solar farm is expected to generate roughly 24.1 GWh of electricity annually and realise USD 1 million (EUR 944m) in yearly revenue.
