German renewables developer PNE recruits Heiko Wuttke as new CEO
Sep 20, 2024 14:12 CESTSep 16, 2011 - German photovoltaic (PV) module maker Solarwatt AG announced today that testing results have shown that its M220-60 GET AK modules meet the requirements for resistance to hailstone damage.
The test was performed by testing organisation Cetecom ICT Services. Cetecom's report states that the modules comply with the international product and quality standards, Solarwatt added.
Apart from the standard test, the module surface was hit by hailstones with a diameter 55 mm (0.002 in), which is double the standard size, and a speed of 120 kmh (74 miles per hour).
