SolarWindow Technologies Inc (OTCMKTS:WNDW), the US company developing transparent electricity-generating windows, on Tuesday said it has entered into a partnership with Dallas-based coating equipment manufacturer nTact as a step towards large-scale production.

This is the latest alliance for SolarWindow on the road to commercial production. The company in the summer of 2017 teamed up with Triview Glass Industries, an architectural and specialty glass manufacturer, which can apply SolarWindow's coatings to windows. The company then formed alliance with chemicals developer Raynergy Tek to ensure supply of raw materials for its coatings.

SolarWindow will work with its latest partner, nTact, to design, prototype, test and manufacture machinery and equipment needed for coating glass and flexible materials with its transparent electricity-generating coatings. The aim is to use the machinery for a high-volume SolarWindow production line at the Triview plant.

"Our mandate is to bring SolarWindow™ electricity-generating products to the $100 billion global skyscraper and commercial buildings market," commented SolarWindow president and chief executive John Conklin.
