Alternus scraps deal for 80-MWp solar project purchase in US
Sep 20, 2024 7:40 CESTOct 26, 2011 - US Solutia Inc (NYSE:SOA), a maker of speciality chemicals used in solar cells, yesterday said it had kicked off its cash tender offer to acquire films and glass products maker Southwall Technologies Inc (NASDAQ:SWTX).
The tender period will end on November 22, 2011, the company said in a statement.
After its completion, Southwall shareholders will get USD 13.60 (EUR 9.81) per share in cash. The deal also needs stockholder and regulatory clearance clearance to go through.
