KKR fund increases tender offer price for Greenvolt
Sep 19, 2024 15:32 CESTGlobal independent solar power producer Sonnedix Power Holdings Ltd has sealed its inaugural engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) framework agreement with French builder Eiffage SA (EPA:FGR) to streamline its construction activities in Spain, Italy and Portugal.
Eiffage will provide services through its Spanish unit Eiffage Energia Sistemas.
Announcing the hand shake on Wednesday, Sonnedix said that construction of its pipeline in the three countries will be delivered under standardised general terms and conditions, which will apply to all future EPC agreements with Eiffage Energia Sistemas. By saving time and resources spent standalone EPC agreements, typically requiring two to three months to finalise, Sonnedix will be able to expedite growth and pipeline conversion, the company said.
Sonnedix's project portfolio in Spain, Italy, and Portugal encompasses 858 MW of renewables under construction and a 1.72 GW in the development pipeline.
“This innovative initiative will see us partner with a trusted EPC contractor to help us convert our huge pipeline of renewable energy projects. Eiffage has a strong track record in our key markets of Spain, Italy, and Portugal, and is exactly the type of company we look to build long-term partnerships with,” said Axel Thiemann, CEO of Sonnedix.
