Jul 12, 2012 - The East Area Committee at South Somerset District Council yesterday gave the go-ahead to a 5-MW solar power project in south Somerset, southwestern England, proposed by Angus Macdonald.
Macdonald, owner of Solar Power Generation Ltd, is to install solar panels on an area of 13.6 hectares (33.6 acres) near Chilton Cantelo village. The park is to generate clean power for a term of 25 years.
