Marmen to restart wind tower production for 350-MW Quebec project
Sep 18, 2024 16:11 CESTNov 21, 2011 - Canadian burger restaurant South St Burger Co has agreed to buy from green energy producer Bullfrog Power enough renewable electricity to power its newest restaurant in Toronto, Bullfrog said Friday.
As part of the deal, Bullfrog will annually pour enough electricity from its hydropower and wind power installations in Ontario into the local grid to match 100% of the power needs of South St Burger's new location. This is the company's eight restaurant in Ontario to cover its power demand exclusively with renewable electricity from Bullfrog, the latter said.
The agreement with Bullfrog is in line with South St Burger's sustainability efforts, which also include energy efficient solutions, solar thermal and solar photovoltaic installations at its locations.
