Spanish renewable power and gas supplier Audax Renovables SA (BME:ADX) said on Monday that it has won a bid to supply 1.8 GWh of 100% renewable electricity to the municipality of La Solana, central Spain.

The award means that the company will be providing all the electricity for the town’s public building, facilities and streetlights.

Audax won the contract in a public tendering procedure by offering the La Solana municipality the ability to control and manage its power consumption based on its needs. The price the municipality will pay for the electricity is indexed to the Iberian OMIE Pass Pool market, while other costs associated with the electricity supply will remain fixed, the company said.
