NTPC’s green energy arm eyes USD 1.2bn from Indian IPO
Sep 19, 2024 11:52 CESTDec 17, 2013 - Spanish wind turbines manufacturer Gamesa (MCE:GAM) today said it had been awarded a contract by Indian renewable energy producer Green Infra to develop a 50-MW wind farm in the State of Maharashtra.
The amount of the contract has not been disclosed.
The wind park will consist of 25 G97-2.0 MW turbines. In addition to the project's development, Gamesa will take charge of maintenance for 10 years. The facility is due for completion by mid-2014.
Gamesa's pipeline of wind project development in India stands at 4,300 MW. India accounted for 18% of Gamesa's revenues in the third quarter of 2013.
