Spain's GRS extends O&M contracts for 110 MWp of solar in Mexico GRS La Laguna PV park in Mexico

Spanish solar contractor GRS has secured a two-year extension of its operation and maintenance (O&M) contracts in Mexico, with a job to continue tending to 110 MWp of solar farms in the country on behalf of Mexican asset manager Balam Fund.

Following the agreement with the customer, the O&M contracts for the Camargo, Energia Limpia de La Laguna, and Salsipuedes Solar photovoltaic plants will now run until December 2025, GRS said on Wednesday.

GRS, which is part of Spanish vertically integrated solar engineering services specialist Grupo Gransolar, also developed and built the three solar farms for Balam Fund. The 35-MW Camargo plant was the first of five projects that GRS built in Mexico. This project was followed by the 35.48-MW Energia Limpia de La Laguna and the 40-MW Salsipuedes Solar, the contractor said.

With the renewal, GRS O&M now manages over 1,620 MW of solar plants worldwide, according to the company.
