Fiba Group unit eyes EBRD loan for 75 MW of new solar in Turkey
Sep 17, 2024 15:21 CESTANKARA (Turkey), July 8 (SeeNews) – Spanish power utility Iberdrola has sold 133 megawatts (MW) of wind projects in Turkey to a local consortium led by holding firm Guris for some 12 million euro ($15.39 million), Spanish media reported.
The wind parks will be built in the region of Subasi Yaprak and Mugla, in the southwest of the country, news agency EFE reported over the weekend quoting unnamed sources familiar with the matter.
The transaction is in line with Iberdrola's 2012-2014 strategy for divesting non-core assets, aimed to raise some 2.0 billion euro and to improve its financial profile.
