Spanish renewables developer Opdenergy Holding SA (BME:OPDE) said on Thursday that it has renewed its EUR-100-million (USD 108.8m) green commercial paper programme on the MARF, Spain’s alternative fixed-income market for small and medium-sized enterprises.

This is a renewal of a similar programme launched in 2023, and the third time the company registered green commercial paper for funding. The latest programme has a one-year term.

Spanish financial institutions Banco Santander SA (BME:SAN), Bestinver Sociedad de Valores SA and Banca March SA acted as underwriters. Evergreen Legal SLP acted as legal advisor.

Sustainalytics, an ESG rating agency, confirmed the credibility and positive impact of Opdenergy's Green Financing Framework, and that it stands in line with the green bond and green lending principles.

This programme aligns with Opdenergy's strategy to diversify its funding sources, the wind and solar power developer added.
