Spain’s Gonvarri Solar Steel said on Thursday that it has signed an agreement to supply 400 MW of its trackers for two solar photovoltaic projects in Peru.

The order includes the supply of 5,400 of Solar Steel’s single-row and dual-row TracSmarT+ 1V solar trackers. These will be installed at two solar sites located near the provinces of Islay and Chiclayo.

“The TracSmarT+ 1V solar trackers are renowned for their efficiency and ability to maximize solar energy production, making them an ideal choice for large-scale projects like these,” Solar Steel said.

Details about the projects and the customer were not disclosed.

The Spanish solar trackers and fixed structures manufacturer says that it has been present with its equipment in Peru since 2012, with supplies totalling 500 MW.
