Sep 19, 2024 16:25 CESTSpanish engineering and technology company Airtificial Intelligence Structures SA (BME:AI) said it has commissioned a 6.3-MW solar farm in El Salvador.
The plant reached commercial operation date (COD) for its total capacity and will now generate electricity for the grid. Its output, estimated at some 13,000 MWh per year, will be sold at market prices, the company said in a brief securities filing.
Airtificial specialises in artificial intelligence and robotics, and has had several ventures in the renewable energy segment as an independent power producer (IPP) and builder for third parties. Besides the project in El Salvador, Airtificial built several solar farms in Spain.
