Sep 09, 2024 14:06 CEST(ADPnews) - Apr 29, 2011 - The start of crushing the new sugar cane harvest has reduced the pressure on Brazil's government to change the percentage of ethanol mixed with petrol (gasoline), the head of Brazil's National Petroleum Agency ANP, Haroldo Lima, said yesterday.
However, no final decision on the issue with the ethanol blend has been made yet, he added.
The executive said that there are also other measures being studies and added that the agency is currently focused on the investigation of a possible cartel among fuel stations in some regions of the country.
