Woodland Biofuels to pour USD 1.35bn into Louisiana port biofuel hub
Sep 18, 2024 8:54 CEST(ADPnews) - Feb 24, 2010 - US novice in agricultural and renewable energy Tseai Energy Unlimited LLC, or TEU, is on track to build a demonstration biogas-fired power plant in Sierra Leone.
The company announced yesterday that its team, currently visiting the western African country, is in talks to acquire the required land parcel for the project.
According to TEU's plans, the facility in Sierra Leone will process regional palm fruit into palm oil. The leftover waste will be converted by biomass digester into biogas, which will generate electricity to be used at local schools.
Established in 2009, TEU is installing small-scale agricultural processing plants, which process abundant local crops, employ local farmers and make commercial products in underdeveloped communities.
