The photovoltaic (PV) park will be located in the province of Latina and is scheduled to become operational in 2023.
Once up and running, the facility should be capable of generating 19 GWh of renewable electricity annually. This output will be supplied exclusively to Fastweb, according to Statkraft's announcement.
Fastweb's Technology Officer, Ernesto Bonalumi, noted that this PPA will help the company to achieve its goals of becoming carbon neutral by 2025.
