IEA urges proactive measures to integrate renewables
Sep 18, 2024 11:17 CESTThe hydrogen arm of China’s Sungrow Power Supply Co Ltd (SHE:300274) has been selected to supply electrolysers for a USD-4-billion (EUR 3.74bn) project for the production of green hydrogen, ammonia and methanol developed by state-turn China Energy Engineering Corporation(CEEC).
The order is for the Songyuan Hydrogen Energy Industrial Park project in Jilin, described as the world's largest initiative of this type. It is expected to produce 110,000 tonnes of green hydrogen, 600,000 tonnes of green ammonia and 60,000 tonnes of green methanol annually.

Sungrow Hydrogen has been contracted to supply its 1,000 Nm³/h ALK hydrogen production system. The concrete size of the order was not disclosed in a press statement released by the company today.
The order, secured through a competitive bidding process, marks Sungrow Hydrogen's third project won in the Jilin province.
